About the Client

Hot Wheels has been passionate about creating exciting vehicle experiences since 1968. The brand began as a line of 16 1:64-scale die-cast vehicles but today they have grown into a global lifestyle brand. The Hot Wheels brand appeals to boys of all ages, with a fan base of more than 41 million people.

Challenge

increase awareness and online presence of the “Hot Wheels Live” event based series by providing a thrilling vehicle experience on Facebook. n interactive, bilingual game where users race across Canada.

Majestic Media created a pseudo-3D contest entry game engine with custom illustrations and animations showcasing Canada’s most popular landmarks as users progress through game play. Here are some of the highlights:
• Complex Flash integration that pushed the limits of features and structural capabilities for Facebook embedded Flash integration (pre i-Frame)
• Sharing integration featured throughout the game (challenge-a-friend, Leader board, Invite)
• Hot Wheels product integration (i.e. Circle of fire, 4 in 1 track, replica cars, etc.)
• Robust CMS to manage all entries, view user data/info, and an Anti-cheat mechanism
