About the Client

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) was established in 1962. The organization promotes Korea as a tourist destination to try and attract travellers from all over the world. In 2006, inbound visitors to Korea totaled over 6 million and the tourism industry is said to be one of the most influential on the Korean economy.

Challenge

Showcase the many travel attributes of Korea through Facebook. Appeal to travelers who are otherwise unaware of Korea as a vacation destination.

Results

This campaign more than doubled the fan base of The Korea Tourism Organization (an increase of over 125%).
